Safeguarding pupils from extremism and radicalisation

E A P understands it has a duty to protect pupils under section 26 of the Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015

It does this by:

  • Regular  training for all staff
  • Detailed risk assessment and action plan
  • Robust safeguarding procedures
  • On line safety Policy and rigorous filtering of content
  • Awareness of the vulnerability of our pupils
  • A Curriculum and resources that promote   ‘Shared Values in Modern Britain’.
  • Encouraging   self- respect and a strong, positive self -identity
